VICTORY FAQ ➺

For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.

For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

WHY VICTORY?

There are things that won’t keep us out of Heaven, or even from a relationship with the Lord, but they can keep us from experiencing the life God has for us.
— Pastor Steve Huskey (Author)
  • Just because you have a heartbeat doesn’t mean you have the kind or quality of life that culture is pursuing or Jesus is promising. People are seeking something much more than existence, and here’s the good news—Jesus came to deliver exactly that.

  • In other words, sanctification is restoration of God’s image. It is His image that characterized humanity before sin distorted that image in the Fall, and we are charged with righting this wrong.

  • If pride can bring down an archangel and our first parents, it can also lead to our downfall. This is why we see multiple warnings throughout Scripture. Pride is something God hates, something found in the hearts of the wicked, and something Christians are warned to work against.

  • Faith isn’t a feeling. It is a choice. Fear is a feeling. Doubt is a feeling. But, in the midst of life’s circumstances, you can choose to put the faith you have in the Jesus you know and the Word you’ve heard.

  • When you hold on to offense, you build a fence between you and the person who hurt you—and between you and God. Forgiveness isn’t saying what they did was right; it’s choosing to trust God to make it right.

  • If you want God’s best, you must do it God’s way.

  • Addiction is simply the inability to stop doing or using something. The apostle Paul labels addiction in the Christian life as unacceptable... ‘I will not be brought under the power of any.’

  • If you are wrestling with feelings of suicide, you need to know you are more than a statistic. You are a person with a purpose. You are valuable. Jesus died for you and wants you to discover the abundant life he came to give.
